Eureka Day by The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio

Anyone who has survived a PTA meeting or a heated neighborhood group chat will find plenty to laugh about in Eureka Day. Jonathan Spector’s satire follows the leaders of a progressive California elementary school who are determined to reach consensus on everything, until a mumps outbreak sends the whole thing spiraling. The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio’s production, directed by Allie Moss, makes for a smart, conversation-starting night out with friends.

What to expect: Performances Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m., Nov. 5 through 22.

Good to know: The show plays in the intimate Studio Two Theatre, so book early for the best seats.

Where: Studio Two Theatre, Riffe Center, 77 S. High Street, Columbus, OH 43215
