Pirates! The Penzance Musical at the Palace Theatre
November 6 @ 7:30 pm - November 8 @ 2:00 pm
Think you know The Pirates of Penzance? This version trades the English coast for New Orleans, layering jazz and blues into Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic operetta for a fresh, toe-tapping take. CAPA and Opera Columbus teamed up on this production to celebrate the Palace Theatre’s 100th anniversary, and Columbus favorite Nina West plays Ruth. It is a festive, feel-good pick for a night out with your partner or your theater-loving friends.
What to expect: Two performances: Friday, Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m.
Good to know: The Sunday matinee offers audio description.
