Christmas in the Village in Downtown Canal Winchester

Canal Winchester’s historic downtown turns into a storybook holiday scene for two festive evenings. Stroll the lit-up streets, pop into shops hosting special activities and soak up small-town holiday charm with friends or family.

What to expect: Carriage and train rides, an iceless skating rink, ice sculptures, food trucks, a holiday craft bazaar and a gingerbread house contest. Friday brings the tree lighting at 6 p.m. and Santa’s arrival by firetruck.

Good to know: Free to attend; paint-an-ornament is $3 each or 2 for $5. A holiday shuttle stops at the Community Center and Historical Complex.
