Grab your coziest scarf and a couple of friends and head downtown for WinterFest Columbus, a relaxed afternoon along the Scioto Mile hosted by Columbus Recreation and Parks. It is the kind of easy, no-pressure outing that kicks off the holiday season without any shopping lists attached.
What to expect: Live local music, a lineup of food trucks, and seasonal craft beer and cocktails with the downtown skyline as your backdrop.
Good to know: Admission is free and open to all. It is an outdoor event in late November, so dress in warm layers.
Where: Dorrian Green, 50 S. Belle Street, Columbus, OH 43215
