Visit the Franklin Park Conservatory Apiary and experience beekeeping first hand with members of COBA (Central Ohio Beekeepers Association)! Watch from outside the enclosure as beekeepers take care of the hives, or jump in for yourself — if you want to participate, you’ll need a veil, jacket, long pants, and closed-toe shoes (a waiver is required). COBA provides safari-style veils covering face and neck.
All ages. Free. Note: hive inspections are weather dependent and may be cancelled at short notice if storms or cold pop up.
